I don't have as many picture as I should. I need new batteries in my camera and my silly brain never remembers when I am within 2 feet of a battery-purchasing opportunity. So... I'll fill in with letters. ;)

Here is the little "apartment" for Haley and Ryan's bunny we will be watching for a couple of weeks. Two days later...it doesn't look so nice and tidy anymore. Remmy really just wants to "play" with her, little Chipmunk, or just lick her. ;) She has a leash and yet when we try and let her hop around outside of her house- she wants to go back in! Maybe I should start designing for rabbits.
This is just a fun picture of N in a laundry basket. Sooo silly!
Okay: Here is the run down of my last week- defined largely by the dinners that we ate eat night. Is there something wrong with that? I don't know why those were the main things I remembered and used as "signposts" to my documentation.

July 29th- Funny, shortly after I posted last, my parents surprised us and flew in from Korea! I was doing the laundry when the doorbell rang. I had Weston answer the door. It sounded just like my mom at the door- so I ran upstairs to tell whomever that they were making me sad- and IT WAS THEM! I just started to cry. It's funny how much I still need my mom even now, even at 30. We went to Zupas for dinner.

July 30th- We went back-to-school shopping and stayed up late talking.

July 31st- We had S's baptism! It was wonderful and I need to get pictures from everyone else. We had lots of family come- my grandparents from Idaho and my grandma from Elko. We had siblings and grandparents and wonderful friends. Thanks to all that could make it. We had a terrific speaker and the spirit was SOOO strong. S did amazing! The next day she bore the most beautiful little testimony. She is getting so old! She has dove right into Activity Days and her Faith in God- she already has 1-8 Articles of Faith memorized and two weeks in, already has two requirements completed! I am so proud of her. Oh yeah, we fought for food at Golden Corral, too. The rolls were awesome.

August 1st- We went to church (see above about S's testimony). Ryan and Haley came back and we had Steak and mashed potatoes. It was yummmy!

August 2nd- W had a conference and after we went rock climbing at Irock. Here are the pictures:

Here is my mom. She suddenly notices that people are taking their shoes off and putting other ones on. "You can rent shoes here," she says. "Yes, mom, you can, " I say. My mom disappears into the front office.
Please note: She is wearing a linen shirt and pants. Nice linen shirt and pants. This does not deter my mother. She climbs anyway. Confusing the poor teenage workers in the front office.

Here she is after reaching the top. She fell on her bum at the bottom- it made us laugh.
My beautiful, amazing, mostly crazy mother. (Photo credits: TT)

August 3rd- Mom and Dad went to Park City. I stayed home with the kids. Things were kind of quiet so I went to look for T. She is asleep. She fell asleep hiding evidence to her latest mess/crime. When she woke up she had a marker goatee and mustache. She had unwrapped feminine products (see one between the mirror and the dresser?) and a couple of other odds and ends (S's candy and K's gum) that she was hurriedly hiding when the sandman found her. Good times.
This was N earlier this week- he is actually more in the crawling stage now. Here he demonstrates the yoga plank pose.

He is really good at yoga. And cute.

Wednesday, August 4th, we had Jordan and Erica over with Ryan and Haley. We ate Papa John's pizza and AWESOME salads. We then played Settlers of Catan. Which W and I promptly won. That's a lie. We didn't win. We NEVER win. I'm hoping it's not a reflection of real life. I love the game. I still don't know what you took Jordan....

August 5th we took my parents out for Indian food before they left. My mom and I LOVE Indian food. The men just go along because they love us. (thanks!) Here are my munchkins in the restaurant.

I can't get the ONE PHOTO I have of S on her big day to post! I need your photos loved ones! :) We loved having my padres here for the week- it went by too fast! Lost of fun, lots of late nights! See you soon!

Here is the Chili Reyno (sp?) that my sweet neighbors made with me! It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
Here are the chilies, grilled, seeded and filled with jack and mozzarella cheese....Ready for the frying pan!
Here's the wonderful rice that Maggie taught us how to cook--the right way!
Here is Maggie and Jen- can I just say, I LOVE my ward?!!?
Finished product:
S bought an ice maker with some of the birthday money she saved...it's been a big hit. Not too messy, either. :)
Here was our latest (and probably this year's last) trip to the drive in. We passed the time taking pictures- they make me laugh...I'll have to post them all later, after I edit them and put them into a time line. My children have a sense of humor- at least I have proof.

This is S's first day of 3rd grade. Here is her backpack. Woo.
Getting so old...

This is actually out-of-order. This was one of the activities at Shawn's 27th Birthday dinner.
Me and Weston. Not a great picture, but hey- we all have to take one for the team sometime.
Ryan's hit for the team. (hehe) and Haley!
Josh and Jaimee (and N)....
Shawn and Uncle Keith....
Uncle Keith and the girls took turn painting finger painting

Then...the game of 'Spoons' commenced...

I can't remember who won...;)
Here's K on his first day of Kindergarten.

And here is us at Swiss Days. I took my camera to take pictures for a friend. We didn't even make it past the port-a-potties. Literally...at least where the pictures are considered.

We had family pictures taken in October.
This shall begin my attempt to catch up on my back-logged experience that only
a new calling, double room-mommery, four kids, puppy watching, small business,
home renovation and a year of slim sleeping can possibly throw off.
I know you all can understand- you have your own list! ;)

I'll be back. I have to find which laptop I've been stashing all the pictures. Already not a good sign. :})

'Nuff said.

Catch up, Ketchup!

So I've decided to implement my New Year's Resolutions early this year. This way they will already be habit by New Year's. Right?

1. KEEP MY MOUTH SHUT. I found a quote on Pintrest that I should have tattooed across my face: Dear God, Please put your arm around my shoulders and your hand around my mouth. I have found that my "trying to pretend the person/thing I am speaking of  is in the room" thing may apply to me...but doesn't apply to others when they relay the conversation. Secondhand conversations KILL ME every time. So, as Marilyn Monroe one said...you learn to trust no one but yourself. Not that I don't trust YOU...it's me.

2. I WILL GO TO THE GYM EVERYDAY {except Sunday}! For a while I was able {by some rare miracle} to go TWICE a day. I loved this. Adored this. It was just the amount of physical activity to get rid of the "AAUUUGGGHHH" that had built up. I have since fallen- a very gravity-fied aka, hard, fall off THAT wagon. So...I shall start again. Because courage doesn't always roar...it may just be saying "I'll try again tomorrow", as Pintrest tells me.

3. I WILL update my blog. The value of said blog has been testified to me via various happenings in the time I've been away. One specifically was the looking for family stories for Trek. I shall come back to Trek- as it was a terrific experience for both W and I. Even MORE specifically was the lack of stories from MY side(s) and the copious amounts I was finding on W's side- who DIDN'T EVEN CARE!  So...not to sound competitive, though it does. I WILL have AWESOME stories for my children to tell about their ancestors. Mostly funny, silly ones...but awesome none-the-less.

4. I will be a better mother. File 3 under this one, too. Pretty self explanatory. I am gonna be kick-bum. Look out.

5. I should be funny and ironic and say, "I am going to put less on myself and stop expecting so much"...I could say that. But then we would ALL know I was lying. ;)

Amen and amen.  {hehe}
Things to talk about:
1. Birthdays
2. Girl's Camp
3. Trek
4. New Familia
5. Awesome People in our Lives
6. Mexico
7. Hawaii
8. Projects
9. Funny children sayings and the like....
10. tons of good stuff.
