In November we had a "Going-Away" dinner for my Dad at Roosters- one of my favorites! My parents, my little family, my brothers and my sweet SIL all in one room for the last time in who knows how long it will be. :(

We had Santa pancakes Christmas Morning....they are becoming a tradition around here.

This is the re-enactment of the Nativity at G'ma Leann's. She read us a beautiful story- the name of which I'll have to look up...(sorry) and gave us a loaf of bread, a blanket and the book as gifts! It went right along with the book! We loved it! Even more we loved that there are cousins to participate with in these fun family activities!

This is K on his way to his preschool's Christmas program. He sang in more song vinettes than any other child- his mother noticed and thinks it's because he was the cutest! ;)

New Year's Day we went sledding with my uncle and cousin. It was a lot of fun- with T trying out the sled on her own displaying no fear- other than walking back UP the hill, as shown in later pictures. ;)

New Year's Eve we 'hung-out' with my uncle, my grandpa, my cousin and his friend. We had lots of food and lots of fun- playing lots of challenge games, rock band and silly string.

This February my brother married his sweetheart, Jaimee! We are so excited to have her be an official 'Smith'. They just purchased a house and got a puppy. Jok is darling and I will post pictures later. I adore Jamiee and am so excited to get to another sister!

This is Shay and Robbie squished into the back of our tiny van...on our way to a couple's night out on Valentines Day- thanks to Mom!
This is me 4 days before N was delivered. Had to document it. One of only three pics of my fat belly.
T's hair for Valentine's Day- please note the hearts. I got creative. :)

What were all the children doing? Having a PAARTY! Grandma had lots of games and activities planned for all of her grandchildren! Not to mention food AND decorations.

Pretty little P- always dressed sooo cute!

Baby K (won't get to use that one too much longer!) getting so big!

The oldest boys- keeping an eye on things!

All the grandbabies! Funny that this picture went out-of-date four days later. (What is even funnier is that we had professional pictures taken the day of Princess P's birthday- a few days later.)

This is just a "speckling" of items...I still have to make the effort to get the photos off both (YES BOTH) my phones. So there is still more to come in my new and more dedicated goal of blogging every Sunday (as journal-keeping efforts).
So we will run backwards and slightly helter-skelter. Sorry. It's not you...it's me. ;)

We just this last week celebrated my niece's 2nd birthday- it was wonderful and her momma went all out. The kids had a blast and it was beautiful!
Then Sunday we had a family dinner with W's side. His aunt and uncle from Mississippi ( I love having to spell that!) were here, along with his aunt and some of his cousins! I was great food and terrific company- it was nice to catch up!
Sorry about the picture size. Thursday I was honored to attend the graduation of a former student of mine (and some others). I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to watch her grow up (from at least the time I got to first meet her). She is an amazing, talented, incredibly intelligent and caring young woman and I am so excited to get to watch her step into her future! Congrats Kenz!!
This is T and the "cake" she made for Oma- I have to send a picture because she made it after Oma had gone back to Korea. Yum.

This is S at her gymnastics recital. She is incredibly coordinated and for being in the sport for the short time that she has she really has done well. Not that I am surprised. She's my child. HA! I can't even touch my toes!

These are some pictures of Easter I found on my camera.

This is N dressed as the Easter Bunny. SO CUTE!

Here is a picture of Oma and Opa and the grandkids. All that they have. Cause none of my brothers will have kids. No cousins on this side. None to carry on the Smith name. So sad. I bet they'd be cute. ;)

Okay...switching sides. Here is Big B on his birthday. We went and rode the Heber Creeper. I've ridden it twice and I think that is enough for a lifetime. So cute cousins. Some from the Rauzi side, too. Big B has cousins on BOTH sides. I bet he is happy about that. I know my kids would be.....

Big B sportin' his train engineer hat. Ain't he soo cute!?!
Here is The RRauzifam...out on the Cystic Fibrosis walk before the hail and rain....

He is the majority of the Bransen'sFibro Fighters Team!!!!
Here is our little family- all six of us- try and find us all! ;)
We have had many other small adventures: W just got a new job, we started getting ready to plant our garden (a HUGE feat at my parents' house), we blessed Nixon (I'll post pictures of that soon for sure), K graduated from preschool (pics on phone), S finished 2nd grade, my iphone is STILL locked, I've put MMM on hold for a while, W started his Master's program....yada, yada, yada. Anyway. I posted. I'll post more on Sunday (or sooner).
p.s. thanks to all of you from whom I hijacked photos from. ;)

"It's kinda scary"...

The kids and I went and saw "Marmaduke" today- don't waste your time- and before the movie started this ad ran for Kia Soul. The kids were mesmerized trying to process the images and music. "Mom, it's kinda scary, " S said, her eyes HUGE. She continued to tell me this over her brother and sister sitting between us. When we got home, her Uncle asked her about the movie. My kids could only say "It was kinda scary." I am assuming we could have left after the commercial and saved us all some time.

I haven't been a blogger much lately so I have forgotten how the pictures upload. Sorry- everything is backwards. I'll get better- I promise!
So last things first: These are the AMAZINGLY cute aprons my BFF from HS made for me and my girls! They are sooo darling and T wore hers for the rest of the evening! Now I need to make some whole wheat bread!

Here is N after church today. Warning: Lots of pics of N. He's just so yummy!!

Here is the picture of T's face paintings we did on Friday. K was sick so our trip to the Air Force Museum was cancelled. We made homemade pizza and did face paintings instead. T wanted more painting after she washed hers off- just after I painted two BEAUTIFUL butterflies with twirls! Mom was sad. Then T was sad. Exhibit A:

Here is N. He missed out on the face painting. He just hung out. Upside down. So cute. So not dressed due to sick-day plan cancel.

Here is S's face paintings. I did the ones on the cheeks, she did the LOVELY star-like crown.

Here is only one side of K's. I believe this is the one he did himself. Wonderful future artist in the house.

Here is a picture of one of the home-made pizzas. They were yummy and way easier to make than I thought!

This is N- eating his first rice cereal! He eat it like a champ. We decided to try it due to the fact he was watching EVERYTHING we put in our mouths! I'm numb to the fact that he is getting so big so fast. Tear.

More of N. Did I say cute? Cute.

Cute-a-fific!

Cute-a-licious!

Cute-a-roonie!

Here is our latest endeavor. These are the beginning stages. I will update you in the near future.

This is my little brother who we dragged into the whole fandangled thing. "I am soo out of my element," says Shawn at this exact moment. What? You don't decide to build a large, three floored playtoy everyday? For shame.

This is our field-trip group at S's end-of-the-year field-trip to the zoo. So fun, so darling and such a rainy day.

These are the elephants- little Zuri and her mama Christie.

Another cute pic!

This was a couple days after he was born- from the long lost iphone.

Princess P! Sooo adorable! We LOVE her!

{Swoon} My babe-of-a-hubby! This is the pic of him on my phone- that comes up everytime he calls. What a pleasure. ;)
Not SUCH a hot picture- but this is him and his handy-man skills re-doing the bathroom in my padres' pad.
An old picture of T sportin pop-corn kernel teeth.
A shout-out to Kenze and Mace- What's up?!! Hanging at Mindy Mae's in the cold garage.

This is my hubby on the close of his Father's Day 2010. Playing video games with my little brother...He had already partaken of a steak, mashed potato and green salad dinner, skipped out on church and had a blueberry, raspberry and banana waffle, bacon, eggs breakfast. He got gifts- mainly practical and lots of loves from his beautiful children.

Here is some of the yummy peach-crisp that we all love so much (Thanks Erica!)

S is so happy I'm taking pictures.

T and K hanging out with the fam.

My gran'pa's birthday was the 19th- we wanted to sing "Happy Birthday" to him. T decided to make him a "cake"- out of playdough and we put the candles in it and sang! We thought it was cute and Pa was a good sport. ;)

One of our activities this week was going to the zoo. Here are some of the pictures from our trip!
N in his hat- he did soo well!

Yes- I look completely stupid. SO. Everyone else looks cute. I'll make the sacrafice.

It was a busy, busy week. Not exactly as I had planned but....we made up for it in other ways.
Here is Remmy, our dog. He gets to stay outside a lot now that he is shedding, shedding, shedding. He's pretty and I never post pictures of him....
Here is the garden that FINALLY got planted. We already have things growing and the kids get to check for weeds as part of their daily chores. FUN!
Here is the play toy...lots of fun...or at least it better be for the price and time...

Here is T. She has started to take naps. Really regular now. This is a double edged sword. On one hand it is nice to have the break from messes, chaos and activity. On the other hand it leaves her recharged for a second round that usually lasts unti around 11pm. BLah.

Here are my boys. So cute.

Here are all of my boys. This was sometime around Father's Day ;)

Here is my newest nephew! Isn't he just breath-taking? I haven't got to meet him yet! T and K got the runs this week and T and N got runny noses that I was hoping was allergies...but didn't want to risk being the one to send the new baby BACK to the hospital. We miss out on quite a few of my planned activities this week due to "not fewing gwood" as T would say.
Here is my hubby. We celebrated our 9th anniversary this week, too. We went to dinner and bought him a pair of jeans. (Oh. I got a pair of earrings- that cost 5% of what his jeans cost.) And we picked up the kids from his sweet mom (thanks mom!) and came home and crashed. Romantic.

I DID get flowers. See.

We went swimming with Princess P and Auntie Chelsea this week, too. It was SOO fun and we are soo excited to do it again! Thanks guys!

Here is N- Mr. Sweetstuff himself!

Daddy had a meeting for his new job- he actually got to dress up a little for work! Its a big change! Here's N hanging with dad after work.

Princess P was in West Haven's Prettiest Baby Contest! We went to cheer her on- she was soo darling!

Here she is: Little Miss Personality! She is the PRETTIEST baby!!!!
Afterward we went and helped Grandma move some new furniture in-- then we tried it out!

Tonight we met at Grandma's house to have cake for June Birthdays- we will have to do that one again! ;) I made a carrot cake (thanks mom!) and we sang to W for his birthday- which is tomorrow.

W's Grandma Weekes was in town from Missouri- it was nice to see her and have her meet most of the new babies!

We played outside for a while and visited.

We are excited for this next week: W birthday, meeting new baby, Fourth of July celebrations! Movies, park days, water days and more! Yay!

Well. We had a terrific week but unfortunately, not a lot of pictures. I will post some of them now... but really it will be more of a text post.

Monday was W's birthday. It wasn't too amazing. He had to work and his taste is too expensive for my wallet.

Here we are singing Happy Birthday after a dinner at Chili's.

There was a "golf" theme to his gifts....

His punch pass to the local 'venues'.
N is starting to sit up on his own...if only for a couple of seconds. :)

One morning the kids disappeared. Out emerged this.....

Tuesdays Weston has class and the kids and I find something to keep us busy. Wednesday we went to the Summer Movie Club and watched ToothFairy. We went and picked cherries in Farmington that night, too. Thursday we went to the Splash Pad, I had Activity Days and then we went and visited PaPa- in the hospital after knee replacement surgery.

Friday, Chelsea and I braved 5 kids and getting them to the Gateway via public transportation. It was an adventure! Before we left, I stopped by Maverik to get the kids waters. I was prompted to get cash back- something I NEVER do. I took the money and put it in my wallet. After we got off Front Runner and Trax we entered the Gateway with a sign saying he needed help. I hate to walk past these people without offering some sort of help- but I didn't remember I had cash in my wallet! I told the man I didn't have cash but I did have some fruit snacks! He looked surprised and thanked me. We walked past him again later and I asked him how the fruit snack was. "Hey! Those fruit snacks had juice in 'em!" We talked about the great fruit snacks and where I bought them. He was a really nice man and I was glad my children got to see that he was a real person.
We got to the Discovery Museum and when we saw the cost- we paused. A man waaay behind the counter asked us how we were amidst our concern over paying so much for an activity for such small individuals. (Well and with a fountain for FREE outside.) As Chelsea mentioned not wanting to pay so much, the man behind the counter offered us a "deal"- which ended up being free...except when they asked if we would like to make a donation. I remembered the cash from earlier and handed it over. The personnel behind the desk were so surprised (weird?) and thanked ME!
It was a terrific learning experience and a great opportunity to see a "pay-it-forward" happen right in front of us!

On the 4th, we had our traditional party at my Uncle's with croquet and fireworks of our own. B&D came with their A and their new K! Here are the newest cousins side-by-side...only 4 months apart! It's amazing how fast babies grow!

Oh! W started his new job. New company car, new blackberry, new hours, new salary! It's the new hours we will have to adjust the most to. In the 9 years we have been married he has always gotten off work around 3 or 330. Having him not get home until 5 makes the day A LOT longer and give us A LOT less time to get things done together in the evening. HOW DO PEOPLE DO IT???? Anyway, we are thankful for his new position and all of the growth that it will allow for both of us. ;)
Until next week!

Once again, it's late and I uploaded the pictures in backwards. Sorry. Start at the bottom. ;)

This is Uncle Shawn, T and S after Chelsea did their make-up. You can't really tell but Shawn, the good sport, is sporting PURPLE eyeshadow, mascara and curled eyelashes! We love Uncle Shawn. :)

S 's family party on her birthday.

Earlier, S had a Spa party for her friends from school.(New school) It was a lot of fun and the girls were darling. Aunt Chelsea and Grandma Leann came and helped do the spa with me and I was VERY grateful! I couldn't have done it without them!

Here are the little girls hanging out during S's friend party in the afternoon.

Here are all the cute, cute girls that came to S's party this year. :)

Here are some of the girls getting peach facials.

Here is the "pedicure" station. We had three.
Manicures were at the bar...not far from the snacks and treats!

Here is the snack buffet:

Here is S's first present of the day: her cell phone.

I decided to take some pictures of S with her friend in their baptism dresses. There are PLENTY more! ;)

This is what K was doing while we took pictures:
and T- great hair.
Chels came and did S's hair and helped entertain the masses while we took pictures.
Love her. And him.

I put these together before all the parties started. Dollar store plates and some cheap glass items made for some terrific display items!

Here was our project of the month. The sink floor moved when I took some cleaning supplies out....I'll show the after a little later.

Here is a little snippet of N "hanging" out-- just for Oma.
